I believe that the website ellasweetpoodles.com is involved in criminal activities and the people behind it should be prosecuted. The site is targeting the unsuspecting customers looking to buy a poodle puppy online. The website looks legitimate, but it is actually a fraud. They do not breed any puppies for sale. They promise to deliver the puppy chosen by the customer and require a full payment upfront. The amount they ask is $600.00, which includes the puppy selling price of $500.00 and $100.00 delivery fee. Soon after receiving the payment in full (in my case it was via zelle service which many banks now support), they stop answering emails. While they do have a phone number listed on the website ( (720) 295-0260 ), the number is just a google voice service, so the actual phone number of the physical phone is not available. They initially answer the call, but the person who picks up the phone barely speaks English, blames a poor connection, and hangs up the phone. Any further attempts to call are then futile because the person monitoring the phone blocks the numbers which previously called it.

Because neither zelle nor the banks offer any protection against fraudulent transfers via zelle service, there is no way to cancel previous transactions and receive the money back. This allows the scammers behind ellasweetpoodles.com to keep the money they fraudulently received.

In my case, on Tuesday, September 3rd 2019 I found a picture of the puppy I liked on ellasweetpoodles.com website. I filled out the request form and submitted it. Soon after that I received an email from someone with display name Ella Poodles, email address [email protected]. The person notified me that the puppy is still available for sale and requested the upfront payment of $600.00. I made the payment and notified the seller. They replied that they would begin the process to ship the puppy. After that, I discovered via online search that this business is actually conducted by the criminal organization which does not breed or sell any puppies, they just scam the unsuspecting clients. I contacted them via email requesting to cancel my order and issue a full refund. I also attempted to contact them by phone, but my attempts did not succeed as I mentioned earlier. At this point, it is no longer possible to contact them. There is no listed mailing address on the website, they do not answer my emails, and they do not answer my phone calls.

This business is clearly a fraudulent one and needs to be shut down.
