The website looked fairly legit...I'm fairly certain they copied and pasted the site from someone else's, though I couldn't find the original Karen Gustavo that the site was masquerading as. There were some spelling and punctuation mistakes, but there was also a "BUYER BEWARE" section warning of scams, which is just straight up clever. I filled out the contact interest form, and the next day they contacted me by email and by text (1-904-335-8405). We talked about the process of adopting one of the dogs - they go a long way to make the text conversation personal, though they sent me a follow-up email where they had switched the gender of the dog I had wanted, and it had a lot of extra spaces and misplaced commas. When I kept pressing them about how the dog would be "shipped" to me, they were super vague, so I asked for payment information. They said they only accepted payment through Zelle, and said their gmail address for Zelle was [email protected] and the user name was Ootongo Otoobu. That sent up a lot of alarm bells, so I searched the phone number online and found a number of scam reports for them, both for Poms and for other toy breeds, as well. I told them they had almost gotten me, and continued to ignore their "I'm getting Charlie ready for his flight right now" and "What's going on? Talk to me" texts.

The scammers have a legitimate looking website, they did their homework they tell you all the things that the AKC tells you to look for in a legitimate dog breeder. They even have you fill out a buyers contract. They show puppies ,have referrals tell you you can come to their home to pick up your puppy. I looked them up on AKC and on Pomeranian club they weren't listed so I told them I didn't want a puppy after all.and they called, my husband said they told him they were calling about pomeranian puppy and the call was from Florida they said they were elevated pomeranians and the person I contacted was from Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Florida contact said they have Elevated Pomeranians all over the country now this is the phone number 904 335-8405 from Florida. Don't fill out buyers form either.So please if anyone is looking for a pomeranian puppy don't contact Elevated Pomeranians.
