1. i answered an ad on marketplace to see a rental. 2. the lady Paula, provided me a phone number to reach out to the property management. 3. I reached out via text to another person, stating there the owners. 4. scammer took my drivers license and $60 for credit check. 5. I went & saw the rental, which the current owner showed me in and i liked the place 5. scammer tried to get $400 of me do insure the property rental is mine for a couple of hours, but i made arrangements for scammer to meet me at the property rental. 6. i got at 1618 Graham Ave to pay the scammer $400 & sign a contract but he never showed up. 7. I went on messenger & i emailed the initial person, Paula, which i responded to & threaten that i will call the police on her. 8. Paula had no clue that it was a scam but she provided me with a lot of snip its where it shows the scammer hires people for $400 to advertise false ads for the scammer. I have attached all the texts between Paula and the scammer, that Paula provided me. I try very hard to put everything in order.
