I found a listing on Facebook Marketplace for a 2008 Ford Econoline Winnebago listed by ELENA STUART in Somerville, NJ for FREE. I asked if it's available and if it's really free. Elena replied that she posted the AD for her sister who is offering this free gift and that I should email her sister directly for more info at [email protected]. I sent an email and a Dr. Rose replied that her husband passed away last year; that they owned the RV for years with many memories; and that due to the trauma (of the memories, I suppose) she wanted to pass it on to someone who will use it and take care of it. However, she said that "the movers she employed to move her properties" currently has the RV and that I would only need to pay for the storage and reroute to my home. She gave me the phone number and URL to gtclogisticsinc.com and also a reference ID (***********) I should use when I call or do an online chat with GTC. I went online to chat. A customer rep responded right away. I gave the reference ID. They confirmed that it is for a motorhome and that it has been in their storage since February 2023. They asked for my name and address to calculate the shipping. They said it would cost a total of $1080.00 (2-3 day delivery with insurance) or $980.00 (4-5 day delivery with insurance) or $890.00 (6-7 day delivery with insurance). When I asked for the RV owner's full name, it took the customer rep a long time to respond. Finally, they wrote back: ROSE LIZZY. They asked which option I wanted and that they would accept payment via Zelle, PayPal, Apple Pay, Bitcoin. I said PayPal, but they said they can only accept via Friends and Family. I asked why since they are a business. They simply said that's the only way they can accept payment for a quick delivery. So I'm thinking, I never mentioned needing a quick delivery. In the meantime, I emailed Dr. Rose about how I would obtain the title. She said that the movers had the documents. Okay, that also didn't sound right. I further searched the internet on the moving company as well as Dr. Rose and Elena Stuart. I found either nothing or negative reviews. I then found this description of the same exact scam. I decided to play along and told Dr. Rose that I have a relative that would be in the Fresno area who can pick up the RV. Surprisingly, she was fine with that. She just reminded me to take pictures of the RV.
