Received a letter in the mail from Elements Financial about a refinance home loan. I called the 800 # 866-498-9900 and they had "Sara" call me from 888-567-8688 and take all of my information over the phone to get my home loan processed. Called the BBB and they verified that this is a LEGIT business bank that is based in Indiana but did not have any offices located in Texas from which the call supposedly came from. The BBB told me this was a scam, and they even called the bank for me to verify there were no offices located in Texas and called the number back to Sara which was then disconnected.
