The scammer called me and stated he worked for El Paso Border Control and claimed that I was a victim of identity theft. They said people had been sending out illegal packages under my name, purchasing properties under my name, and opening bank accounts under my name. They said I needed to load money onto a Target gift card and read them the numbers to confirm that I only had one bank account.
