The exit scam executed by Einstein Exchange has left approximately 200,000+ customers with a monetary loss amounting to millions of dollars and lost crytocurrecy combined. The news of this wasn't realized to this person until just this past weekend, as nothing in my news circles was announced. The attempt to move iota and eos from the exchange wallet was thwarted by inexperience with certain wallets that work together with my Ledger device. I did manage to move btc, xrp, and ether. I realize, although I may have resolved my personal wallet issues, that Einstein would have delayed and denied any request to move crypto within the window available, as this is what I understand happened to many customers. Yes, they stole my fiat balance and my crypto. They stole everything from everybody.

My worst nightmare may just be beginning. The KYC process involved a complete personal information request, sworn to secrecy under Einstein's privacy policy. This policy is now void, of course, and I believe everybody's complete personal information, right down to land locations has been sold.

What do we do now to protect ourselves from identity theft?
