Type of a scam Phishing
The left a message with our receptionist, "Adam Cropper 888-880-1655 Calling regarding hotel accommodations for the show. Kindly return call, thanks." When I returned the call to find out what it was about the original caller "Adam" was not there so they wanted me to confirm all of my hotel accommodation information with them so I could get the new operator up to speed. We never made any hotel accommodations so they were phishing for information, to resell me fake hotel blocks. This is a big problem in the trade show industry and this company should be prosecuted.
