I learned about eggplant mail when searching for funny gag gifts to send a friend. There were lots of pictures on the website of people receiving their eggplants and the website offered apple pay, which is usually a sign of an active business.

However, when I did not receive shipping information within two weeks, I reached out via email to ask if my gift was likely to arrive before Christmas. The email bounced back as undeliverable.

The website also listed Instagram and Facebook pages as methods of contact, but no phone number. I looked on both social media sites and neither account has been active in over a year. I still sent messages, but I am losing hope that this company is still open, and wondering if it ever was a legitimate business.

I order their product in September to send to my friend and they sent me a confirmation email right afterwards. Also, a couple days later the total for the purchase was taken out of my account. After a month of not getting an email that the product shipped like they said they would. I decided that I would email them, I got a response saying they were sorry about it and that they would ship it out "ASAP". Three months later I still haven't got the product and looking at their instagram account many others have said that they were not receiving anything either. I tried to report them on instagram but the account is still active.

They advertise sending eggplants with messages to people of your choosing but they never ship them out and do not respond to any sort of correspondence. I ordered in early September and it is now December and have emailed and messaged them a number of times. Many people on social media also saying they never received anything. I have not seen one case of someone saying they received their eggplant except for the "company's" own social media videos/pictures.

I placed an order about 5 weeks ago. Have no received any tracking information, replies to my messages, or the order. I have attempted to contact them via Facebook, twitter, and email with no success. They charged my card immediately but have not delivered the order.

This company will "process" your order and send you a confirmation but not the product. They won't respond to your shipping inquiries and don't intend on actually sending the product.

this company will take your order for their product and actually send you an order confirmation. Sadly, they do not actually send the product. Then they won't respond to your inquiries regarding when the item will ship. Beware. It's a scam because they take orders they can not or do not intend to fill.

If you check on Twitter I am not alone. They have taken my money and not updated me or shipped my item in over 2 weeks. They have one way to contact online. I've reached out twice and received nothing back.
