Person identified as Judah Seifert from an instagram account contacted me through market place messenger to purchase an item I had for sale. Made a “payment” through “Venmo”. I received a email from “Venmo” stating the money was sent and would be deposited after I sent a shipping verification number. I noticed there was incorrect grammar and misspelled words. Received 2 more emails from “Venmo”. I immediately contacted my shipping business to stop delivery of package. This individual called me through messenger asking me to send him copies of the emails after I confronted him about the mailing address he used. Heavy accent, lots of static on the phone. He hung up on me when I refused and then starting deleting his messages to me. Fortunately I had already took screen shots of the entire thread.
