In short I applied for a job on Career Builder, I was emailed by Anderson Holzemer from Audacy Inc. and was asked if I was interested in a Data Entry position., I accepted and I was sent an offer letter which i completed. I had a job briefing via Zoom with Sarah Edwards. After the interview she hired me, and I was ver excited. I was sent new hire paperwork from Brian Benedik which I completed like a dummy with all my information and emailed it back since this job is completely remote. I was sent two checks to purchase supplies for my new position which I deposited, and the first check for $3744.55 was cleared and the second for 7744.55 and $6042 is still sitting in my account waiting for me to disburse monies to different venders. I got suspicious paying monies out to different people and called my bank to get in touch with the person who wrote and signed those checks, but the bank is closed until Tuesday 10/10/2023 which I will be returning to the bank. I have not contacted Sarah Edwards back Via Zoom yet to let her know I'm no longer interested in the position she contacted me and now wants me to open a Google account for my position. Preying on people trying to find jobs is awful. I will be reporting this to everybody I can.
