Edward w. Contacted me on Letgo about a couch for sale. Said he was to busy getting his studio set up and could send someone immediately to pick up the furniture piece and would send a certified cashiers check. I didn't fall for it and asked for a picture of the check so I could check its legitimacy ahead of time and asked Who it was made out to. He apologized for the inconvenience and said he could pay more for the trouble and asked if we could proceed with a check. At this point I said cash only and he acted like he didn't understand and did not respond. This happened earlier today. By this evening, his account was "being modified" by Letgo. Thankfully I work in the banking industry and knew what to ask and look out for.
