just not sure if this person is real. He said he was in Jacksonville nc at camp lejeune. I just met him on the 20th on tinder dating app and he all of a sudden got sent to somalia within this time. Now wants to send me money to send to him because he and his friends are having it hard there. I told him I wasn’t sending him money. I have not sent any money or given him any of my bank information. I met him on tinder and we are communicating through whatsapp. I'm not going to help at all but i wanted to report it so hopefully it would help stop if this is a scam. He also said he has only been in the military for two years and he is 38. He lost his father and sister in a car accident some years ago and it’s just him and his mother. He keeps messaging me these sweet messages I guess to soften me up.

Tip from the BBB, "If you are ever asked for money from someone you met on a dating app, please contact the dating site and report the offender to them so that can start an investigation into the person."
