This company called and explained on the phone that they could lower the interest rate on existing credit cards. After 2 hours on the phone and talking to several reps from Educare ( they keep switching people to collect various information ) and tele conferencing with my credit card companies my balance was determined. Then I was put through a credit check and was asked to sign the e-contract that did not outline what the service is that I am paying for. Upon request for this information, I was told a packet will be mailed to me with that information. This never arrived and when I called to check the status of my information I was told "next week", by this time they had already debited my account for funds that were supposed to be to cover my new monthly credit card payment and a portion would be for their service. No action was ever taken by this company to pay any credit card or to consolidate my existing credit cards. A mystery credit card showed up in my mail box. I did not open or authorize a new credit card to be opened in my name or on my behalf. Two days later the new credit card company alerted me that the case looks fraudulent and to call them asap. Around this time my bank called me to report the suspicious debit taken from my checking account. I cancelled all credit cards and checking accounts. Funny that when I call them they hang up on me when I ask questions, but now I am being harassed by them calling me. They always call from a different number and will not answer my questions about what is going on because the person will not listen, they just want my new bank routing information. My next step is going to the police.
