I was contacted about an open assistant position after the “company” viewed my resume on Indeed. After applying and being accepted for the position I was sent a check to deposit for my equipment. My boss instructed me to deposit the check and then send the money to the vendors for my equipment. After the check deposited everything seemed fine so I did as I was instructed; thinking that I was going to receive my equipment as my boss had said. After sending the payments to the vendors via Apple Pay, I woke up the next morning to see my account was overdrawn by 1,946 as the check they had provided to me for my so called equipment, bounced. I have contacted my bank and Apple pay and have not received any help as to if I will ever be compensated or see my money return. As a college student who thought she had a job to

make money, it is very upsetting and hurtful that my money has been stolen and I was scammed. I am looking for any help at all.
