BEWARE! EDMONTON FREIGHT HANDLING JOB SCAMMERS

I received an email from Ramandeep Kaur, who claims to be their HR manager. Many red flags with the emails and website. Clear lack of professionalism and punctuality. Lot's of grammar mistakes and some information on the website is missing and inaccurate. Biggest giveaway is that they contact you first without you applying for the job. Unless it's an email from Linkedin or Indeed, recruiters will never reach out to you FIRST with an email offer! They offered a position of payment operator with an average entry level salary and they were so careless to include what company they were in the email. After doing some research, no Indeed postings or reviews, no Linkedin profiles, no google reviews or street views of their branches and all of the listed phone numbers are non-valid/out of service. I asked them how they found me and they said it was confidential and couldn't tell me. They instructed me to fill out an application on their website which was really sketchy and poorly designed. I blocked their emails and reported them. Hopefully these scammers get taken down because job scams are a lot less frequent and more people are susceptible to being victims of them. Please be careful and remember, companies will NEVER reach out first (especially with an offer that seems too good to be true)

Type of a scam Employment

I received a job offer as a payment operator via email on May4, 2022.. and after searching and asking I realized that it is a scam. The offer came after few emails and they asked me to fill an application on the company's "Edmonton Freight Handling Ltd." website and I got a phone call as an interview and then they sent me the offer with agreement attached to sign and to send my ID as well.
