I work as a hostess in a restaurant and last night, a busy Friday night in the middle of dinner hour, a woman with a thick accent called saying she was from "Edje Regulations" which she pronounced as "EDGE Regulations." I had her spell it and she spelled it - twice - as "Edje." In retrospect, I believe it was just a stupid scammer, located overseas, and did not have command of English grammar and spelled it wrong on accident. Anyway, she asked if I was the owner (and gave the owner's name, a male, and had the name correct. I am female.) I said he was not available and that I was the hostess. The woman said the owner needs to pay an invoice and that she would call back to talk to him. She would not tell me what the invoice was for, just that it was for business. I told her she is a scammer and that I am going to report this call to the BBB. She said "OK, bye" and I said "Ma'am? Remove this phone number from your scam list!" and I hung up. These con artists are disgusting and ruthless. Thank you for having a great site like this for which we can report these scams.
