A person claiming to be calling from Edison called my business claiming they had a technician on the way to turn off my power. They said I had to go to a cvs and buy a prepaid card and put $400.95 and to call them back when I was finished. Luckily, I had a gut feeling that it wasn’t right but I was willing to do it anyway when my boyfriend googled the number and it was a scammer! The person claimed to be named Josh Parker but I’m sure that’s bs.

Someone called and told us we are going to have service interruption due to nonpayment. However we had already made payment to our utility company and the scammer was trying to convince us to make a minimum payment in order to stop the service interruption . they even gave us a 800 number to call and it was not as the same as EDISON customer service.
