I got an email from what I thought was Yahoo saying that my email may have been compromised. I called the number given and a man named Sam answered but he had an Indian accent. They made it seem so real showing an IP address from France where my email was used. They offered to help me and wanted to remotely use my laptop to remove any viruses. I didn’t fall for it obviously but decided to play around with them to see what kind of scam it was. They offered me a deal of $249.99 to protect my laptop for 2 years using the program CCleaner. I checked it out and the download is free you don’t need to pay at all. I’m sick of receiving the damn phone calls from all those numbers. Please do something about this company.

Computer Support, their left a message on my home phone stating that my computer security was out of date, and there was an breach to my computer, and that they were working with Microsoft Word. However, after providing all of my personal and financial information is when they then stated that, if Microsoft word or anyone else attempts to contact me to get into with Edify. Moreover, there was three different packages $49.99 for 1yr., $249.99 for 2yrs., $339.00 for 3yrs. and etc. that package that I chose was for 3yrs. If I did not utilize their services my computer was in such a bad conditions that it was going to stop working. So, after going through this process, and providing all of my personal and financial information; I feeling duped....

A pop up showed up on my screen, I called the number as it prompted me to. I gave them my credit card and paid for services (lifetime supposedly).
