I was contacted via my school's email address. The email stated a faculty member "Dr. Bagwell" was moving and downsizing. She was getting rid of a baby grand piano and faculty or students should text her directly at 7022138837. Once contacted, "Dr. Bagwell" sends pictures of the piano and asks for your email address to give you the movers information. The email supplies you with the following:

REFERENCE NUMBER :  BEE84988

OWNER NAME: Dr, Elizabeth Bagwell

It also tells you to contact Eddie Movers. I sent an email and was told to pick an option for delivery of the piano. After the option is selected I was told to supply my physical address for an invoice. The invoice has the cost for the selected option and must be paid before delivery of the piano. I became suspicious after receivinga random text from "Dr. Bagwell." I neither supplied my physical address or paid any money. I did look up the company. In a review dated August 19, 2021, Eddie's Movers is reported as closed and used for the purposes of two scams. One scam involves a piano.
