Box appeared on screen with load voice 'Call now your information has been compromised call 1855.232.1923. I repeat call. Also,the box information contained additional information and identified as Microsoft word. Attempted to turn off laptop, X out, shut down could not. Spoke with Frank Jones identified himself as a Microsoft Certified Technician. Gained access to my computer explained problem also the steps to fix unlimited security. Provided payment. Emailed proof of payment with receipt and letter head. One hour later It rep John Parker informed it was fixed. Next day received call from Jennifer 18669710152 follow up service proved. Informed her scam business asked last name and CEO and address. She promised refund within 5 days. She hung up. Do not do this!!!!

My laptop froze and pop up screen came up, claiming that my laptop was hacked and to call a certain to number to get it fixed. It seemed legit so I called. They knew my name and ip address and asked me if they could remotely access my laptop and show me what was going on with it. Then they claimed they could fix it with their tech support and I unfortunately complied. 399$ lost. Beware.

Pop screen indicating my computer was locked. I called the 800 # was told I needed fire walll product for $399.99
