In January of 2021, I saw an ad on Facebook for Garage cabinets on Facebook marketplace. I sent a message to Avimelet Medina Cervantes. He came to my home on January 19th, and gave me an estimate for garage cabinets. Later on that evening, I reached out to Avi, and told him we wanted to proceed. He told me to send half the money of the estimate via Zelle, to his wife’s account (Rowena Medina 408-644-8175, DL D1568455). So I did, and he said that the following week he would be back to install the cabinets in one day. He was a no show — no call or text to notify me. Every week, or two he would say he coming, and still a no show. Now months have gone by, no return call, or text. I’ve reached out to his wife, and asked for my money to be returned, but no communication from either one of them. I wish I would’ve done my research before hiring him….I got scammed!
