I received a message through Messenger from a relative telling me about money they had received and that it was a government grant. I received a link from her the next morning to contacting them to see if we qualified! The qoman said ahe had to check the data base after getting our names and we were told we qualified! Everything was done through messenger! After our info. and ID (??) was entered they gave me a list of monetary amounts I could choose from to get in cash or a check! But there were amounts you had to pay up front to receive the money and at that point I called my relative which is when I found out it was a scam. She told me it had also been sent to another relative! I feel so stupid that I fell for this but thank God that I didn't follow through! I'm not someone that falls for theae type of things but because I thought it came from someone I trusted they almost got my money!! ??
