I received a message on FB messenger. One of my "friends" reached out about the "good fortune of $90K" he received through ECAB grant. I asked what company my friend worked for to verify that it was actually him. The hacker told me which prompted me to send $2500 through Moneygram at Walmart. Later I realized that anyone could figure out what company he worked for so I asked what my friend's boss' name was in 2000. There was no response from the man so I went back to Walmart and was able to get my $$ back. The man wanted me to go to Walmart and purchase 5 $100 Amazon gift cards also and promised me $250k.
