Befriended by someone on Facebook. The person convinced victim to go to “ebaymallshopping.com” to help eBay boost the products algorithm to the top of the list. ebay would give a small percentage (0.4-1.0%) of the order based on how much the victim contributed to the system. The higher the contribution the higher the percentage payout. The scammer then suggested to withdraw some money to let victim know that money can be withdrawn. Later in order to boost the algorithm again by taking orders for the day, there would be a “bonus” order that allow the victim to get 20% profit. In order to get the bonus the victim need to add more money into the system to cover the expensive cost of the product. Once more money is added, the victim can then complete the order. Money the system received would be at least a day later. In order to withdraw money, victim needs to complete the order for the new day first. During the ordering process the victim gets hit with another “bonus” order which requires 3 times the amount of the 1st bonus to be deposit. Basically a never ending loop of adding money into the system. Victim can never withdraw his money.

Befriended by Facebook messenger. Convince target to make money by helping eBay to move products to the top of the algorithm list. Victim would get percentage of the order depending on the level of money invested into the system. In the process the system would trapped victim with “bonus” order which requires victim to add more money to complete the order. The “bonus” order can be 20% profit or more. Victim can not withdraw their own money unless the bonus order is complete. Once more money is deposit you’ll have to complete the order for the day again to withdraw money out. In trying to complete the order for the day the system will give another “bonus” which requires 3-4 times the amount of the first bonus deposit and promise to give even more percentage. Victim realized too late that this was a scam and took his lost and did not deposit anymore money. The scammer said the money in the account still belongs to the victim. What good is the money when the victim cannot withdraw it.
