I've been getting calls & emails for a month. Several even said they found my email and number through my old resumes online from ziprecruiters, indeed, upwork...etc. I believe this is how they are getting thr name, addresses, email and phone numbers generated listed. This may be the same way for those fake IRS SCAMS. I recieved a priority mail letter with a fake cashier's check in the amount of $2468.24 describing what to do such a requesting to buy several gift cards, scratch the back and send pic, how was the cashier, how was the store...etc. The check looks real cause it's perforated, colorcoated background and front of check, a artificial watermark, and even the verbiage of where to sign te check in the back. They are trying hard as hell to be real looking. I immediately called and typed up my scam report.
