I saw a car on FB Marketplace. Julie Brown sent me pictures of a 2008 Altima LE. She said her son had been killed two months ago in a biking accident, and it caused her too much pain, and she would sell it for $800. She told me to buy a 5 card for $200 each for a total of $1000 in eBay cards from CVS at the corner of E Main and Hamilton Rd in Columbus, OH. I scratched the numbers from the backs of the cards and emailed them a picture. I was contacted by Eric Sanders with eBay Buyer Protection Program. He emailed back that he had received the payment. Two days later, they said they needed $1000 for insurance. I can't see their email addresses.

The Tractor was listed as "2006 Deere 6420 Tractor Mirrors Manual Telescopic - $24,000 (**)" He recognized the email as a scam and asked for me to report it. We have notified **. The seller replied with this email:

I was told by this Sargent Sydney Givens that she would sell her 2007 Nissan Altima to me for 1,000 but everything would have to be done though Ebay buyers protection plan. I knew this was a scam. The phone number for this eBay device doesn’t work. States that I have reached a non working number.

I texted the above number inquiring about a 1999 Chevrolet truck that was listed for $2,000.00. The truck was in fantastic condition with no rust etc. I was sent a text back with an email to contact the seller and would receive pictures and more info about the truck. I received pictures and was told that this man and wife had just lost their son and wanted to get rid of the truck because it brought back too many memories. I asked to come pick up the truck myself and was told that it was in a warehouse in Cleveland Ohio ready to ship once eBay had contacted me and got all the info they needed. I began to search for info about the supposed seller but couldn't find info on her nor could I find anything on eBay regarding this truck. This morning I searched for warehouse in Cleveland Ohio and several of the same sernarios popped up with almost identical stories like the one I was given.
