They offered to loan me $5000 and said that in order to verify my bank account they would deposit a small amount. After I gave them my account number and routing number and access to view my records they told me to stay on the phone so I could verify if I received the deposit. I transferred my money from my account to my savings account account just to be safe so that I could determine how much their deposit was. They came back on the phone and said they had made the deposit but the funds wouldn't be available until the next day. At that time they would have verified my bank information and then deposit my loan. I got off the phone and went back to my bank account and saw they had deposited $800 but instead of using the account that I gave them the number to, they put it in the account that I transferred my money to. I knew there was something wrong so I hurried and transferred my money to my daughter's account that was linked to my account. Before I was finished they called me and said they saw that the funds were available and to please send them back the $800 through Cash app. I told them my phone was about to die and I needed to go into the house and plug it in and would call them back. We hung up and I immediately called my bank and told them what was going on and to verify if there was actually money in my account. She explained that all she could see was that it was a mobile deposit and probably a fake check. While she was still on the phone they called me back urging me to send them back their money so they could deposit the $5000 for me. I went to my cash app and tried to add money to send them but it said, " unable to send this request due to security issues". After telling them that they tried to walk me through another way to do it and I got the same message. I asked them could I just use PayPal or Venmo, because by this time I didn't want anything to do with them. They said they didn't have their system set up that way and told me to go to CVS or Love's truck stop with my ID and I told them that would take about 10 minutes. They said they would call back then. I then switched back to my bank and she took me that she could reject the deposit, that way whatever means they used would be returned to them and to then block their number. I did and she locked all my accounts. I then wanted to file a complaint with the ScamPulse.com and when I started, I saw that you couldn't find a business with that information. I decided to go back to cash app and change my credit card. When I removed my card linked to the bank that was compromised and used my other bank I noticed the app was acting weird. I was going to have my daughter send me my money I sent her but when I went to my contacts they were gone. All of them. I then sent her a message asking for her cash app name and told her i would request the money from her. When I started to type in her name all the contacts suddenly came back. I told her don't send anything let me request it. She told me that I wasn't in her contacts anymore. I requested a $1 from her and received a message saying " this person is no longer taking requests" and said they have to send it to you personally. I then requested the same thing from my son and received the same message. Each time the messages would use their name, to start the message. I told my daughter to don't send anything and don't open anything from me. I immediately removed my other debit card and was going to uninstall the app but there was no where in the app to sign out of the cash app account. So I then knew I'd been compromised and immediately went to my Google because all of my passwords were stored there. When I tried to access it I had been signed out and it wanted me to enter my password. I had the 2 step authentication enabled that requires my fingerprint so they signed me out of my account. They changed my password but in order to get the code, they would have to get it from my back up email address which also requires a fingerprint. I didn't try to sign in to my Google because I figured since I didn't sign out something or someone signed me out. I then tried to access any other apps on my phone and every one of them had been signed out of and wanted me to sign back in. So I was going to call Verizon but I couldn't access my contacts until I signed back into Google. So I tried to access My Verizon and even it wanted me to sign in. I immediately turned my phone off and opened my Chromebook to try to get online to Verizon and my Chromebook and my phone were linked together and when I tried to sign into my Chromebook, my password didn't work. I tried 2 times and each time it said please check your password. I was going to change my password but before I could it just opened up and I had access all of a sudden. So I then was going to attempt to contact Verizon but everything I did required me to log in. I then believed that they had back doored my laptop and I was going do a factory reset. I tried to turn off the device and could not power it off no matter what. I then used a different phone to get the information on how to do a factory reset. No matter what I tried, three different ways to do it, it would not let me do it. I think they had taken control of the keyboard and disabled the power button. Then I went to settings to sign out and try to use as a guest and a screen came up that would only allow me to sign into Google. I then called Verizon on a different phone and requested them to suspend my service. I hope you can catch up with these scammers
