Easy Homes Reports & Reviews (1)

I noted a potential property on Craigslist and called the listed number to make an inquiry on July 6,2022. A woman by the name of Erica Mae answered. Communication was difficult related English not being Erica’s first language. She asked what property and I said one in Lawrence, Kansas and said I didn’t know what the specific address was because it wasn’t listed. There was confusion while she “searched” the property. Even after spelling she was confused and emailed photos of the property. The photos were not of the property I was inquiring about and they are not any properties in the area of search. She sent me an email with a link to fill out an application. She said all I needed to do was send a picture of my credit score and then asked if she could stay on the phone and help me fill out the application. I said I did not need the assistance. She told me she would call back for follow up on Friday July 8, 2022. On July 7, 2022, an unknown number texted me a phone number linked to the “company” Erica Mae works for. I called because I was curious about the potential scamming. The gentleman, name unknown, who answered hung up on me twice before I could investigate the situation. He too spoke English as a second or third or so on language. Communication was difficult. I asked him what the company website was, easyhomes.com. I informed him that is not an actual website. He offered to send me a link via my email. At that time I told him no, I never want to have a phone call, text, or email from the group of scam artists. At that point he hung up on me for the third time. Prior to hanging up he reminded me that I had called them not the other way around. An EZ Homes used to be a company in SLC, UT. It is permanently closed. Erica’s email isn’t like any other professional realtors. Notice that her title is Real Estate Specialist, she doesn’t come up when searched. Also notice on her “business card” the spelling, ‘Home Reality, Easy Homes.’ Sure, they might mean “reality” but I assume they meant realty. This suspicion is related to English not being the first language spoken by either contacts. While speaking with both contacts, there were multiple voices noted in the background noise.
