I was contacted by Juanita Perez supposedly a HR representative from East Shipping around 01/15/24 after I applied to a job posting on Indeed, that was for Package inspector, the job consisted of receiving packages and opening packages inspecting them and upload pictures of goods and slips into their dashboard and send it out. Based salary was $3000 with up to $1800 in bonus. Juanita sent me the contract and in there says that my first payment was to be in exactly 1 month of my first package. I received also form W4, and several email welcoming onboarding. After several days I received my first package on 01/21/2024, I sent out the package. after a couple of weeks of sending packages they stop sending packages but still told me to login 3 times a day to keep assistance going. After a week of no sending packages, I was told because of my good performance I will be assigned to the shopping department, I was going to go places and buy the goods and send them out. That 3rd week also received some orders to be pick up at courier locations, kind of intercepting packages before they arrived end destination. I got to do a deeper search on the internet, and got to see that East Shipping is same company as Connect Shipping, saw several complaints regarding people getting lock out of dashboard and not getting pay their dues,also not answering any phone calls, some people kept their packages due to no payment, and getting threaten to release the packages or will be sued or sending police to their houses, that never show up. on my last week I was sent 1 package for that week and their system was crashing, that was 2 days before my payment day. Today is 02/21/24 it supposed to be my payday, and I was lock out of dashboard, and they are not answering. I am making a ScamPulse.com report, police report, report it to labor board. and report it to INDEED, they are all over this platform, luring people to work from home. Beware of this people:

There was a publication on Indeed regarding an employment position for East Shipping, I was contacted by Juanita Perez ([email protected] (802) 876-8162) She called me several times, then decided to go ahead and sign up for this employment opportunity. She sent me a contract and very genuine and explainable email. My job title was Package Inspector, and my job was to received packages, take pictures and upload it to their dashboard. In their contract, they specify that my 1st month salary of $3000 base pay and up $1800 in bonus pay will be pay a month after my first assignment. After accepting their offer and terms, they sent me. a welcome letter and W4 forms and requested my state ID. Also, with an extended tutorial and support documents to setup my dashboard, on Jan 21st, 2024, I received my first package and after 2 weeks they did not send no more packages but still asked me to login 3 times a day to dashboard for attendance. I got an email from Luisa Henry my supposed manager that I was doing an excellent job, and she was recommending me for a future promotion. What was odd, that signature company name was different it was from Connect Shipping 29600 32 Mile Rd #2a, New Haven, MI 48050 (888) 820-8031. After researching more regarding these companies, I started to notice all complaints regarding East Shipping, and Connect Shipping people that go lock out from dashboard after their first month of employment had ended and their wages were stolen or never paid, and some other that kept their packages to force them to pay but instead they sent letters regarding suing and calling the authorities. Today was my payday, I was also lockout of dashboard, no phone call answering and no deposit, whatsoever. Please beware of these details using employment platforms as INDEED to scam people:

I was told I would be making 3000 base salary and 4800 to ship packages off and receive them to my house fill out a w2 form and also gave my bank information

I don’t think i ever applied to this job but i do know i look for some at home jobs. I was contacted by HR rep by the name of Princess Love:

I give them a call wasn’t any foreign speaker more authentic english speaker.

I then get a call with the Manager I’ll be working under and another English person.

Answered my questions and was a normal conversation and what i should inspect about the coming future. The things i find alarming is I’m suppose to work 30 days before pay as a probationary period. I ask about benefits but he had less information zips to i get benefits 30days after probation period after the conversation the email i get.

After i made an account which is just email username and create password. The dashboard looks simple and they have training videos on the specific job i am doing. Another alarming situation is whatever i enters in the field like sensitive information like my Credit card information on how i want to be paid through. Doesn’t clears or hidden. So i decided to just delete everything and hit save. After awhile i wasn’t able to load the page after that. And finally was able to log back in a hour later. And my card number and everything still just sits there in the open. Now I’m curious about this place and went to the website https://www.eastlogisticsus.com that was provided and look up more info about it and found some Reddit information from others that had the same situation same contact same shipped item sent to them for there first package. Everything pointing out to be a scam now they sending me information deposit forms to send bank info and w-4 forms to fill out. So far i don’t even want to continue with this and here i have a package sent to me and idk if i should go out my way to deal with this matter.
