Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
Prior that that he sent me a code and I read it back to him to access my account. From there I was put on hold for over 45 minutes, while he checked back in making sure I didn't hang up. All the while he was disputing charges of my past payments to go back into my account.
Once the money was back in my account he said to check my account that the money had been deposited. I did, but I also checked to see if it was a legit deposit. I pulled up my account transactions and did not see a deposit, but saw that 3 payments that were made in the past 3 months were disputed and returned to my account, which is the exact amount that he asked to wire him.
I confronted him on it and he got extremely hostile. My husband advised me to hang up and call my bank to block it. While I was doing that he kept sending me nasty text messages like, "I hope you see your husband and son in a accident, both will die the same day", "you [censored] creature, "your husband is a thief like you". The audacity to blame the victim for taking her own money back.
He had a Indian accent. I believe when I received the call his wife was the one that called, and then said she's going to transfer me to the account manager.
I should've hung up as soon as he asked if I was near a Walmart, but I was naïve. In the end, I didn't send him a penny, and I reported the disputes he made to my account (which were my rent payments), blocked my card and will be closing my account tomorrow.
