I responded to an email that I was picked for an interview for a job I applied for on zip recruiter. Was told they were moving a business down to San Antonio in August. They told me the position would be a remote position. They sent a check to my house for 5,930 which was put on hold by the bank. They asked me to pay $200 in Amazon cards to get my working materials after I sent them and they were redeemed I was told I would need to send at extra $800. I refused and they kept asking for more money. My bank called and reported the check was fraudulent and after I told the person that and I threatened to report them I was immediately blocked from communication.
