EBOOKTRIP.COM IS A BIG SCAM ! THEY WILL BAIT AND SWITCH YOU !

They tried to bait and switch me on 2 occasions . You would make a reservation for the price shown and they will call you about 10 minutes later to tell you that the price is no longer available and that if you want to confirm the booking it would cost you almost twice the price you thought you were going to pay . They should simply be shut down and brought to court for bait and switch . BIG SCAM !

Scam!

Definitely scam!
They sent an email said action require because of my credit card authorization. I contacted the credit card company and it never got charge. I called them and they said the price went up over $500 added to the total. Then after that they didn’t send me the eticket, only gave me the confirmation number with the airline and told me I have to check directly with the airline. Then the airline couldn’t find my flights. So I lost my money to them now and have to claim the fraud with the credit card company now.

BIG SCAM

“THEY ARE A SCAM”

Worst ever service. They intentionally failed the card holder verification saying there’s extra space which is a nonsense thing. And then now they are saying that the fare has increased and demands more money to proceed forward. Ridiculous, they want more fares so failed verification. Who does that? I would give less than 1 star or negative ratings for them.

I booked 2 online tickets from them on August 1st 2023. The purchase was done successfully. I was confident about this.
In the evening I received a call from the agency. The agent said "you booked 2 tickets but paid only for the one". Now you must pay more money if wanted to make this purchase happened.
That doesn't make sense. You can't do that factually. I refused to pay more amount of money they were asking and it was Canceled.
That's shameful and is unfair business practice. I was very disappointed. Please be careful if doing business with them.

No good. Stay Away

Booked a round trip international ticket. Got an email from them with a "reference number". That was several hours and many calls ago - each time I'm told the ticket will be sent in 30 minutes.

Avoid at all cost. eBookTrip sent me a booking receipt after I booked four tickets on Copa Airlines. Copa increased the price and eBookTrip called me and said there was a problem with my booking. They then dumped me and canceled my booking refusing to honor their quote. They are not a reputable business. Trusting them may cause you much anguish and frustration.

RUN FAST ! THIEFS !

They initially stole money with baggage fees and then told me you could not add bags to the flights from their site. I let this slide.
I then found out not only did they overcharge me and steal money for baggage fees but they charge a $70 agency fee that is not advertised.
Now, they cancelled my employees flight after he departed his hometown. He is now stranded in NYC. They did not send any cancellation whatsoever and he had to wait in hold with the airline for 2 hours just to be told the travel agency (ebooktrip) had cancelled the flight. The icing on the cake is they issued at $43.00 for a $600+ flight. I called customer service initially and they speak poor English. Abs transferee me around 4 times to different reps. None of which understood my very simple question about the baggage. The support agent kept calling me “bro” and kept insisting “you don’t understand” when clearly it was the other way around. Do not, by any means use this company

SCAMMERS!

I booked a trip from DC to Vegas two days ago. The cost $207. I thought I had a real bargain. No, of course not. I should have known better. I received the confirmation email that said booking is almost complete. Last night I received an email saying my card did not go through or there was a problem with my information. They gave me a number to call. I called them and they said my address could not be verified. I asked them what address they had. He changed one number in my zip code and claimed that's what I gave them. Not true. My credit card would have declined on the spot. Then he says "and unfortunately, we cannot honor the price of $207, that was a promotion." The best price now is $286, not including taxes and fees. I said "You will honor it or you will cancel it." Then he said, "Oh, hold on let me speak to my manager" (Everyone is working from home so...really?). He then came back on in 2 seconds and said, "Okay, Ma'm. The price we cannot honor but we can take $20 off and do not add taxes. I told him, "No thank you. Cancel everything. I might have to pay more but it won't be to you guys."

They do not honor the booking.

I bought a ticket through them twice (just to confirm this is not accidental). They "sell" tickets a bit cheaper than other sites (e.g. United). I entered all the information including credit card info. They sent an email claiming "Your trip is now booked and in process", i.e. booked but not really. I called them and they said the ticket is "booked but not ticketed". Effectively they make you wait for a few hours, and then say the price wasn't guaranteed and they can still book a flight but with a different price. As the price likely went up, the customer cannot book a ticket for the same price at other place anymore. So, definitely scammers.

I book a trip via the telephone with whom I thought was Southwest. After booking the trip I received a call from a Oliver in California from phone number 916.888.0848 and he said he worked for E Book Trip, LLC. He stated that he was going to offer me a cheaper flight price of $257 versus the $367 I had just paid for my flight. He stated that I had won a contest thru Southwest and Google but I had to buy Google Play cards from Walmart. After speaking with Oliver and knowing it was a scam, I called my credit card company and they gave me the number from my statement for E Book Trip LLC. I called and spoke with a representative who stated that they had no Oliver in California that worked for them. My flight was book thru Southwest but I cancelled it because Oliver had all of my information. He had my flight details, my credit card number, my address, he had all of my information. I also called and spoke with the Southwest via the airport and their security office confirmed there was no promotion running with Southwest and Google.
