They interviewed me for a remote job and made an offer of employment. The scammers used the names of real people from the HR dept of a real healthcare organization. They sent me a $5k check to purchase home office equipment from a third party vendor using zelle or Apple Pay. The third party used a Gmail account. I declined to continue when they refused to verify their fake “third party vendor”.
