Dynamic Advantage Secret Shoppers Scam Reports & Reviews (1)

- Seattle, WA, USA

I was contacted via Linked-In by a business contact, or so I thought. I applied to be a secret shopper, the website looked legitimate. However instead of accepting an assignment (as is more typical for a real secret shopper), and then making a modest purchase for a modest payment, I received an unsolicited and suspicious letter with no letterhead that looks like it was printed from Notepad asking me to cash a $2k+ check, contact the supervisor, and await instructions by text about what my Walmart purchases would be. I called the number to state that I had accepted no assignment and wanted off their list if they were legit and would report them to the police if they were not. I then received a 2nd envelope, check and letter! Yikes!
