I unfortunately fell for a scam advertisement on Facebook. The advertisement was for a dragon shaped backpack that I liked, so I ordered it. Their website claimed the item would ship between 1 to 2 business days and then take a week to get here. It took over a month for the item to deliver, and when it was delivered instead of the backpack, I received a very cheap plastic toy watch that was made to look like a smart watch, however, the screen does nothing besides display the incorrect time, which cannot even be changed or modified. It is at best , a 50 Cent child’s toy. I contacted the company both via email and their contact form on their website after doing research online and finding out that multiple other people who ordered this item also received this cheap toy watch instead of what was actually paid for. When the company responded to my online inquiry, they tried to claim it was an accident from their warehouse and only offered me a 5% refund which I deemed unacceptable given the fact that I could tell this toy watch was not worth 95% of the amount of money I gave them for the item I actually wanted. after going back-and-forth multiple times and telling them that there was no way it was an accident since it happened to at least five other people, they are now offering a 20% refund which I still find unacceptable because they are claiming that this fake watch that doesn’t properly tell time or function in any way it’s still an item of significant value. It is not.
