Recd 3 phone calls back to back from an unknown number in Louisiana. Caller identified himself as a representative of DSG and associates and they needed to speak to me about a court case that involved me. Gave me a docket number and 1-800 number to call. Called 1-800 number and they said they were lawyers from CA on behalf of a hospital in my home town trying to collect for unpd medical bills. Caller knew last 4 of my SNN, DOB, and last 4 addresses. He also knew that I had been in a particular local hospital in my hometown in September of 2014 (which I was). He implied that they were sending someone to serve me papers to appear in court. He said they wanted to settle out of court if possible and asked for a payment of $901.42 over the phone. I told him I would not give out a CC number over the phone so he said he would email me the documents and I could fill them out with my payment info and send it back to them. I started asking questions about who he was calling from and I told him I did not think something was right about this as I was not aware of any debt. I asked him to hold for a moment and when i put him on hold he hung. Unfortunately (even though I should not have) I had already given him my email address. When I checked my email there was an email from docusign asking me to review and sign docs. When I tried to open the document it said it had been voided.
