I received an email for a remote job opportunity ($20 training/$40/hr) with labvantage - biomax GMBH. I should of been more suspicious when no company emails were being used. I had to meet using Mircosoft Teams. I have tried to verify the job offer with the company, but have not received a reply. I even signed what I thought was an employment letter. After signing the employment letter, I received a second email:

Dear Candidate,

We were impressed with your qualifications and experience outlined in your resume reviewed Online. We believe that your skills align perfectly with what we are looking for to join our team.

The interview details are as follows:

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide administrative support to various departments or executives within the organization, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, handling phone calls, and maintaining records.

Scanning & filing for Managing Partner along with additional duties as requested

Assist with the coordination of internal and external clients including scheduling meetings via Zoom, screening phone calls, facilitating client communications to the appropriate client service staff, and following up with clients, when appropriate

Maintain and organize documents, records, and files, ensuring they are easily accessible and properly archived.

Handle administrative issues and troubleshoot problems as they arise, finding efficient and effective solutions.

BRIEFING SUMMARY

You will be enrolled in a 2-week training program. Find Training program details below:

*You will have to be online from 8 am to 11 AM daily for the training program as you will be given a series of tasks during training.

*You will resume work fully after training and your working hours will be 8 am - 5 pm your time zone.

*Whether or not you have an assignment or task to carry out you will be paid $40/hr and for 8 hours a day as long as you are online during the stated hours.

*You have to keep a strict record of time and activities. A time sheet should be sent every Friday's day for monitoring (In your format).

*In carrying out any assignment or task a progress report has to be emailed every Friday to me.

*You are paid weekly.

*There is no startup cost, the training would be administered online, this is an Internet-based position, and the base pay is $20 per hour During and $40 per hour after training.

*Either party is free to terminate at any time with notice.

Employment Supervisor

My first task was to type some notes re; customer service. That is not training. I backed out right away and moved on. This is a scam where they send money for supplies like I read in other posts. The personal information they received was my email address and electronic signature. I researched all over the web for anyone who may have been scammed, but I may be the first to report it.
