Mike Bass contacted us via email through the ScamPulse.com initially. He was requesting tree services at a newly purchased property. Our sales manager contacted him via phone with the number he provided to me. He spoke to him several times to get confirmed info for the job to be done. We drove over 2 hours away to Chillicothe from Marion, Ohio to assess the property and provide him with an estimate for services requested. Mike accepted on 11/30/23 and we scheduled him for 12/7/23. We had several communications via email and phone with Mike during this time. On the morning of 12/7/23 at 5:15am, I received an email from Mike stating He was unable to give us access to his property because he owes the previous owner $3773. He asked to include the $3773 in our payment so we could then send the $3773 to the previous owner for him. Thank goodness I received this email in time before my guys loaded up and drove over 2 hours away to a property to cut down trees that probably isn't even owned by Mike Bass.
