This person sent me a message through the ScamPulse.com claiming to be a Dr. David ******* Stating he bought a house in the town I live in. Wanted an estimate to paint the complete inside of the house. He stated that the interior was in good shape but didn’t like the colors. He sent me measurements of all room in the house to use for an estimate. So I gave him a price of $18,900.50. He kept saying that they will supply all paints. I got a check in this past Saturday 7/9/22 for $25,900.50. Then this person said I need to wire transfer $7000.00 for the paint supplier. So I googled the company name on the check and called them today Monday. Talked to the owner of this oil company and it was not a valid check that it was a scam. I knew it was when this so called Dr. Started texting me and there was so many misspelled words also sentence structure was wrong.
