On august 20th of 2018, i was contacted via email about a job offer. The email camr from [email protected]. the name of thr company that i was supposed to be working for is DPDGroup, an parcel delivery company located in Germany but they do delivery all over the world. My position was going to be an Administrative assistant working from home. Salary offered were $30.7 an hour. After a unknown number of email exchange between Mr. Danny as he liked to br called and i recieved a check on Thursday the 23th with an amount of $4820 in order for me to purchase all the equipment that i was going to need to start working from home. I was asked by the scamer to deposit de check into my account, once cleared go ahead and order the equipment. Friday i recieved an email from Mr. Danny saying. Due to the vendor website is undergoing maintenance, withdraw the money from your account and deposit into the venders account. I go to the bank and to my surprise my account has been closed, when i meet with one of the reps, she informed me that the check was fake and it was definitely a scam. Thank god the account was close. I lost only $200 god save me.
