Online purchase scam

I today made an enquiry for a yorkie puppy from Doyle Yorkie Puppies which was advertised for £750 & heard back from the owners to say I could have one of their puppies but as they’d had to relocate to Malta due to the current Covid pandemic, I’d have to pay £200 shipping fee as well! Alarms bells rang for me & so glad I read others reviews - these people should be prosecuted - what they are doing is illegal surely?

We lost over $2300 on the shipping company and who ever said the owners were
What terrible people to do what they did
Please please check out any company before purchasing a pet

I began searching and searching and came across someone who was selling exactly what I wanted for my little one and this person seemed so legit was speaking on god etc and I am a strong believer in my faith so I believed they were legit. Long story short they knew why it was important for me to get this puppy for my daughter yet and still they scammed me out of the money I saved for my daughters birthday leaving me with nothing to give my sweet girl for her birthday
