I entered my power companies website ssemc.com and it took me to a website that looked exactly like the ssemc website and asked for my email address and password and then told me exactly what I owed on my power bill as usual then asked for my payment info…it is already on file with my company so I finally knew something wasn’t right! When I tried to get out of the website it finally identified itself as Doxo Bill Pay but they already had my email and password and had created an account without my consent!!! This is fraud! I called them and they said they deleted the account??? Also called Power Company and they said it happens all the time and their is nothing they can legally do…very concerned because Doxo now has full access th my ssemc account with my personal/billing info…what can I do???
