Dow Janes, LLC Reports & Reviews (1)

- Newbury Park, CA, USA • Dec 27, 2023

The website is choppy and not user friendly. It's presented all neat and tidy in the beginning. However, it's a very disorganized website and how they present the material to you. You cannot find anything without the link being emailed to you first. There's no search area on their website. It's disjointed and has a scammy vibe. They have you using the Treasury App with a bunch of mind numbing content and they use free Google drives for assignments to upload and a Facebook group that no one posts in except on how to cancel the subscription and regrets about signing up in the first place. I really wonder if they even have staff or if it's the two white women running this con. LA King, LLC bills you monthly with this subscription and when you look them up they are some financial company in Tulsa. The content is gender biased and insults my intelligence as a woman. They just want to sell you their own products and this so called education that you can get from reading Suzie Orman. They don't really help you as in it takes FOREVER for someone to email back from their [email protected] email. No one contacts you or reaches out to see if you need help or struggling to understand how to use all these so-called tools. They allege that they have coaches and people available to help but they can't seem to keep staff. When they have online zoom meetings they are during normal business working hours. How is someone who works all day, and pay this ridiculous monthly subscription, supposed to login to these meetings for coaching when they don't even offer them at times that would be helpful for a working professional? They do a lot of overpromising in the beginning about helping you but once they get you to sign up and fork over your money, you are stuck for their sham of a "Million Dollar" year and they refuse to give you back your money if you aren't satisfied. I'm reporting them to my bank as fraud on top of this review because their whole "education thing" they are doing is a scam bent to manipulate women and feed off of their insecurities into signing up. On a side note, Dow Janes are always needing to hire new people from all their job openings and emails about new staff and changes. They are more than happy to take your $199 every month for a year and make trying to cancel the subscription a cluster fudge maze. If you aren't happy with the content and the service, you should be able to get your money back. Where is the customer service 800 phone number?! Doesn't even exist! You can't even call and ask questions. They don't care about customer service. They just take your money, don't provide you with any customer service to check on you and don't give it back. I regret ever signing up for Dow Janes. It's cost me $2,189 and just put me more in debt. I could have gone on a cruise or paid off my credit card. Instead I got scammed by women who allege they are here to help educate other women about their finances. I want my money back from this business scam these thieves are running. Other women and people need to know that these women are crooks and stealing money from innocent women and not giving it back.
