There was a job for a Virtual Executive Assistant posted on Indeed with company name being ESP Spares Inc. After i applied, i looked up the company and thry do habe a website. The company address is 300 Central Blvd Suite B Georgetown, TX 78626. The next day I received a message on Indeed stating the position is still available but he revised it a little bit. He said the pay would be $850/weekly. and he is out of office for a littke while. Claims to be an Entrepreneur. There was a link that took me to the "company" job posting. As I was reading it again, rhe pay said $650/weekly. Since he provided me his email address, [email protected], I sent him an email asking what the pay is and if they provide equipment or anything since some companies do. I left my phone # in the email. Today I received a text message from him letting me know that he received my email. He didn't answer my questions though. I noticed he sort of didn't communicate very well as far as forming sentences and that was a red flag to me. Then he said he has another job for me. Company name is Paychex. They supposedly send him a list of tasks to do. He needed help to complete them since he is gone for a little while. By now, I already caught on to his scam attempt. He mentioned "I am a man with a multiple occupation, I involve in anything that can makes my family some money." (Paychex is a real Payroll company). I looked up his "name" on Google. I came across this page regarding him scamming and other pages reporting him.
I reported the job posted on Indeed. Please be aware! I'm sorry to those who were scammed!

I'm pretty sure that this Nishiya Johnston is also Doug. I received a job offer from Nishiya Johnston, for an Executive Assistant position on 05/17/2023. "She" sent me an overview of my responsibilities as her assistant. I was told I would be getting paid $850/week to be her assistant, and she asked what my schedule looks like. i told her that i can work from 9-2pm from Monday to Friday. She asked if I was available to do a task at the moment, and of course I said yes. Her task included upload an indeed job ad, for an Office Assistant Position. She emailed me the details to type for the job ad, and gave me credit card info to sponsor it. When I posted the ad, hours later, it had been flagged(indeed didn't say why, it just said flagged). The next morning, the account she set up for me to use for the ad was paused, and the account needed verification that I worked for a legitimate business.I informed her of this, and she said that indeeed told her to use another email. This was sketchy, but I tried with the new email, because she said it got paused, because i kept logging in and out if indeed. I never logged out and I tried the ad again, it was flagged, and the account got disabled. Finally, I called indded directly to ask what was going on, and they informed me of a possible scam, and told me that the accounts would remain paused until they get verification from the company. I then called the number I had been texting for "Nishiya Johnston", and I had this weird music playing in my ear, followed by and automated response saying "Hello"; it then went straight to voicemail. I received a text from Nishiya saying "Hi"; at this point, I'm about to start asking for information. Before I responded, I used my Been Verified account to search the phone number, and found out that the number had been looked up 111 times! (Doug has clearly been busy), and I saw this article attached to this phone number. So I confronted Nishiya and "her" reaction made me believe that her and Doug are the same person. There is certainly more to this story, and I would like to know who to contact about this person; whoever he/she is. I have uploaded a lot of images, and they are in order, so hopefully this helps.

Nishiya just contacted me, any job that has a gmail account sometimes isn't legit. Good thing I googled and saw this. You saved me from replying to her/him.

A job was posted on Indeed for a Personal Administrative assistant. This Doug Schrade contact my daughter to let her know she had been selected for the job and what she would be doing along with the pay rate of $850/ week to be sent in a check. Her first task was to get check paper and print 50 checks that were then mailed using pre-paid postage that he sent. She printed the checks and took them to the post office on April 28th. He then sent more for her to print over the weekend. When she went to the post office this morning with them, the USPS employee told her the last batch had been flagged as fraud. She still has not been paid and has spent $70 of her own money to get supplies to print the checks and postage. She found a Doug Schrade online owning a flooring company in North Carolina I believe. We felt he was a legitimate person with a real job. Fortunately, the only personal information he has of hers is her phone number and address, which can be found anywhere these days. Please advise us on what to do next. We do not want this happening to someone else.

I believe we are dealing with the same scammer and I've posted my experience, I really hope it is helpful. I'm so sorry you and your daughter had to go through this, and I really hope someone can stop this scammer. Your article was very helpful, and I thank you for this warning.
