They first contacted me through text message. The lady name was Carol and she had a job offer for me that she wanted to explain more in detail. She asked me if I had a Skype account so we can talk on there. Once I got on Skype we were instant messaging back and forth. This time I was talking to a lady named Hannah Brooks. She was detailing my job description and asking me regular interview questions. After that, she said she was going to forward this conversation to her boss and had me wait for 20 minutes. When she came back she told me that I was hired. This was all on a Saturday afternoon. Then on Monday they sent me the employment letter detailing my job and pay rate which was $28 per hour. Then she had me sent my bank info and my personal info. She wanted my baking for so they can deposit $2,000 on to my credit card so I can buy my materials I need to work. Once I thought that the funds were available to me, Hannah told me to go to Walmart and purchase gift cards and load the money onto those gift cards. After Walmart thought it was a scam, she told me to go to Target and tried the same thing. This time, the lady at the register said that I need it to contact my bank. Once I did that, he told me that I was about to be scammed. The bank that issued me the money, Bridge bank / Valley juice, is a known scam Bank. So my bank change all of my information including my checking account numbers. After all of that I lied to her and told her that I got the gift cards and she immediately asked for the numbers on the card, which was exactly what the bank told me what's going to happen. They still have my personal info and SSN but at least they don't have access to my bank accounts anymore.
