A complete scam! BEWARE! I almost sent her $500 but decided to do more research and here I am. My gut feeling was right- $700 for a maltipoo was too good to be true. Asking for a deposit just to see the dog is not right. Huge red flags! She only communicates through email and doesn’t want to see you.

We just fell victim to this "Donna Maltipoos". PAID $500 on Sunday evening and then it was complete crickets after payment. Story is exactly the same is all these others. We were also hoping to get Charlie. Now I am stuck pleading with Navyfed to try and get our money back. The person in the email is Donna Burkett, but the person on the Venmo was Morgan Young. I feel so stupid for falling for this. All the signs were there and I was just too blind to see them.

I will be filing a police report. You all should too! This person must be stopped.

My wife almost sent this lady a deposit, but I decided to do more research. This lady has played the same game with my wife. Won't talk on the phone or meet in person "Unless you make a deposit". I researched the address listed on her website (in Newport NC)--she doesn't own the property, even though she supposedly runs her business out of her home. She even sent the same photos and videos other complainants have mentioned. And used the same name--"Charlie". Thanks to all of you who have complained. I hope you are able to get your money back and this sorry POS goes to jail.

Do NOT trust this woman nor the site! She makes everything sound good and look legit. I sent a deposit on Charlie, but she would never call only text or email. Those responses slowed to nothing when she got the money. Next day my husband called and asked if she had puppies, she said he had to fill out an application, the whole spill. He said before he wasted his time, was Charlie was still available? She said yes. Now granted she has my $500 deposit and my husband and I are supposed to go get Charlie tomorrow 06/12. Now she’s promising my Charlie or so called Charlie to what she thinks is another person!

She even puts God Bless at the bottom of her pages when she’s done e-mailing you! May God have mercy on your Thieving heart!

I had a double mastectomy in December and 12 days later I lost my Maltipoo Cody of 14 years to cancer. So I got to the point where I was healthy enough to start life with a new fur baby! So when this comes back & bites this lady or whom ever is doing this, I hope the hurt they have brought to the people they have scammed is just as painful & just!

Definitely a scam shes no longer responding once she gets the money she says u need to call bank and have them approve it I called bank it was received now I am no longer getting a response please be careful you guys this isn't something I usually do but I took a chance it looked legit you go through the adoption process and all but in the end u don't get nothing.BIG BIG SCAM

She is scam texts say you’ve been approved for dog requests for Apple Pay, and then I asked for proof that she has the dog and she is sending videos and pictures everyday when we were in communication.

FRAUDULENT!
Was scammed by Donna's maltesepoo website by a someone indicating to be Donna Burkett [email protected] in which I venmo a deposit for a puppy. Balance in cash was to be given at time of pickup which was today (6.6) only to arrive at yet another victim's home. No puppy and no $$$.

This Donna person has a phone number to call in which she texts you back and advises to fill out an application online, communication is done once she approves your application.

KARMA WILL COME IN FOLDS!

We've fallen victim to this thief as well. The person we had to venmo was a "Morgan Young". Who was the person you paid? We are so hurt and angry. I've sent multiple texts and emails, but I'm sure I've been blocked. There has to be a way to trace money back to this individual through Venmo. I will never use venmo again after this. THey've wiped their hands clean of any responsibility. Leaving us flailing in the wind without our money or a puppy.

I recently tried to purchase a french bulldog puppy from someone in California and they scammed me out of $1000.00. Now, two weeks after trying to con even more money out of me a website mysteriously shows up with my home address. I have had two couples and a sheriff deputy visit my home looking for Donna. I do not have Maltipoos. I am afraid for myself and my frenchie. Please make this person who ever it is take the site down.
