We had a car to donate. The information on the website seemed fine. The had a tow company come pick up the car. No address, no paperwork. We were told they would send it when they go the car. 4 days later I called to get the address for the dmv report. The woman confirmed my email address, and said they would get it sent the next day. It has been 9 calendar days since that call. I filed dmv saying no address available. We do not take charitable contributions on tax return, but other people should not give cars to them. I reviewed IRS pub 78 for non profit status and did not find them.
