I was scammed. I was attempting to purchase a cocker poo dog. I was told by an online page that this was a reputable seller. He shared details on the puppies to be born and I paid a refundable $500 deposit. When the puppies were born I selected one for pick up in about 8 weeks and was told I would need pay for the dog in full before I saw or picked up the dog. That sounded odd so I told the seller I changed my mine and wanted to exercise my contract option for a full refund. He agreed and said I would be refunded on March 5. On March 7, he sent me a Zelle request for an additional $500 and said the way his zelle worked is I needed to pay an additional $500 and he would refund me $1000. I refused and he stated if Idid not do that I would have to wait. I sent him a paypal link to pay me. I offered to come and pick up the money and I sent a Zelle request. Nothing. He has stopped contact with me and is screening his calls.

Contacted Facebook organizer for cavapoo puppies. Was referred to breeder. Sent $800 deposit. Received email requesting $2000 deposit on rental fee for crate transport. Scammer received my $800 but thankfully my bank stopped the $2000 payment. Was able to scam me solely based on my desire for a new puppy! I have filed a police report as well.
