I received a letter that I could qualify for Income Based Repayment Plan. I called the phone number and was guided for an IBR plan. I did not get the company name. I have the representative's name: Abdul Al-Shikli, Senior Student Loan Advisor, (949) 447-5306. He told me to go to these links for Federal Aid, which then led me to studentdebtportal.com. What I failed to identify until the last minute: he misspelled my last name, incorrect birthday, and was going to charge me 799.00. He and this company grabbed all of my personal information, and I fear that I will be a potential victim to identity theft. They just sent me crazy email and ruined my photos on my phone; I have been compromised.
